The devices main firmware can be updated by uploading a .dwn file via the devices webserver.
The AVN-DIO10 firmware download now contains two separate files labelled AVN-DIO_x.y.dwn and AVN-DIOv2_x.y.dwn. The v2 file is for a different hardware revision, but both versions are functionally the same.

To determine which file you need to upload to your unit you can use the following information:
- If your unit is running firmware version 1.2.xx and below then this is the original hardware revision, so use the firmware file AVN-DIO10_x.y.dwn.
- If your device is running firmware version 1.3.xx and above and the device info page does not show the hardware revision, then use firmware file AVN-DIO10v2_x.y.dwn.
- Otherwise, use the hardware version number on the device info page to determine the correct file. Version 1.x requires AVN-DIO10_x.y.dwn and version 2.x requires AVN-DIO10v2_x.y.dwn.

It is not possible to upload the incorrect file. If the filename is incorrect, the unit will inform you.

Firmware Note:
If you experience any interoperability or stability issues with the latest firmware, please try the previous version (v1.7.292) included in this folder, which may offer improved compatibility with certain systems. We recommend resetting the unit back to defaults after loading the firmware.
